This place is amazing! Super helpful and nice. Dr. Nguyen was so great. I get so nervous when it comes to eye doctors, but everybody there made me feel right at home. I went in for an eye emergency and found a new place for all my eye care needs.

Highly recommend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The doctors are amazing- knowledgeable and very thorough (especially Dr. Prapta!). The office is beautiful and the selection of frames is great! I've seen them in both their Mansfield and Midlothian locations and cant say enough nice things about this group!

I went there yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Kaylee, Kathy, Stephanie and Dr. La were professional, but so friendly to newcomers such as myself. They explained each procedure very clearly and understandable, so I wasn't confused. Highly recommend going to this location!!

Walked in and was seen almost immediately. Everyone is very helpful and friendly here . They also have free candy , so you can’t beat that . Lol . Anyway overall great experience.

Our whole family gets treated at this office. The office staff is always friendly and very efficient. All of the doctors are very thorough and personable. We have used the office in Mansfield for several years, and are so glad they have opened an office in our hometown of Midlothian.

I am a service provider and patient here at TSO.. I have been with TSO Mansfield for years. I now have come to the new Midlothian office and am very impressed with the facilities and the staff. Everyone here that my 2 boys and I saw from check-in, to the examining OD was top notch.. Could not recommend more highly..

Dr Cameron Smith and Dr Shawn Prapta are both caring and professional. I had an urgent issue and they stayed late to make sure I was taken care of on a Saturday afternoon. In addition, before I left Dr Smith gave me his cell phone number in case I needed him over the weekend. I felt well taken care of and was so appreciative of the compassionate manner in which I was treated. By the way, I was not a prior patient...I am now!! I highly recommend them.

I made an appointment after a recent appointment with a competor. I was telling my wise daughter in law about my vision issues after buying new glasses. She told me about Dr. Smith at Texas State Optical. I'm moving to Midlothian... So this is great & convenient. The reception personnel where fabulous & got me an appointment right away, they are very professional and courteous. My exam was the BEST... Its probably the best exam in ages... I can SEE and no more blurry achy eyes. I would highly recommend!!! And will go no where else!! My whole family goes there now!! I can't say enough GOOD thing!!

I've been going to TSO for years. Dr. Prapta took his time with me and addressed all of my needs and concerns. He did a very thorough eye exam. He has even gone out of his way to see me at inconvenient times to make sure I got taken care of! The TSO staff are all super friendly. Dr. Prapta gave me two prescriptions and told me exactly what each one would be used for! I Love my prescription sunglasses! I have referred multiple family and friends to him! love Dr. Prapta and his staff! Will never go to another place!!!

Very friendly staff. State of the art equipment! They have flexible scheduling and we love Dr. Prapta. He was so patient and thorough when I wanted to try contacts again and went through a few brands but finally found a super comfortable one. I haven't seen this well in years! I love my frame choice and they have so many styles to choose from. Highly recommended!

I love being able to take myself and family to a locally owned and operated office. Dr. La took her time, was very friendly, and made sure all questions/concerns were addressed. Oh, and she is very patient with little ones. Love having an optometrist office so close to home.
